Ok Mommy...GO SHOPPING!

Tonight Casey was adopted! I hope, for his sake, that his new family has a bigger kitchen table than we do cuz he barely fit on the one here! His new mommy is a former vet tech so he'll be in good hands if he ever gets sick. Binky is really going to miss him...but now maybe we can get a new man around here!!!!!

Poor Honey!

Honey, my enemy, went to the vet tonight. Unfortunately, she's got a couple new mammary tumors that have popped up and need to be removed. She had 3 big tumors when Mommy pulled her from the pound, but now that her mammary tissue is shrinking because of her spay, 4 tiny ones are now showing under the skin. She's going to have to have surgery and get her belly all cut up again. She'll come home looking like Frankenbeagle.

Even tho she's a pesky beagle and she breaks into my room alot, I don't want her to be sick! We may have to set up a lemonade stand in the front yard as a fundraiser for Honey's surgery. Who's thirsty????

Is this really necessary? The whole world knows I'm on a diet...but do we need photographic evidence?

As if this wasn't bad enough...I also got my backside shaved, a bath, and a big poke in the but with a needle!!!!!!!!! Apparently the Dr. thinks maybe I have food allergies and that might be why my personal hygiene isn't the greatest. It looks like there's a new food in my future. I saw the bag...it doesn't say anything about fresh fish or turkey or anything I know I like! Plus...it's dry kibble!!!!!!!!!!! I've never had dry food since I got to this house...I've worked hard on my diet and now my reward is icky kibble?

Mommy says it won't do me any good to run away from home because anyone who loves me would take care of me and also make me eat the icky kibble. Is that true??? How did Garfield get lucky enough to have an owner who gives him lasagna???

Boy..he is handsome!

This is Starsky...currently at the Wyandotte Animal Shelter waiting for a home. He's declawed, a little older...and a chunky monkey just like me! He'd fit in great around here. OK someone needs to get adopted out of here so we have room! Jillian is sitting here helping me shop for men and she agrees that Binky and Casey are no fun...so she's voting for a new man, too!

I heard Mommy say something about me having a bath today...so I need to go hide under the dresser in my room until the coast is clear.

Art fair schmart fair!

Hmph! Pottery Creations is closed because they have a booth set up at the Ann Arbor art fair this weekend...so nobody around here is getting any new fancy bowl anytime soon. DRAT!

By the way...I hope everyone is OK after that ridiculous storm that blew through here. Mommy & Daddy were out and I saw a couple of the dogs piddle on the floor cuz they were so scared. Once again I have to say...I don't think a cat would ever do that! Bad doggies!!!

There's a Petco adoption event tomorrow. Mommy's gonna take some of the cats and try to find them a new home. I hope she does...cuz we need some new faces around here! Casey and Binky spend all day chasing each other around and they don't even notice me! Men!

Security Breach!

Kinzi here. Apparently I need to change the password to log into my blog. As if the beagles invading my room and stealing my food and toys isn't bad enough...now my own personal website has been broken into. When will it end????

As for being called Sushi Breath...well...the way I look at it, Sushi is very expensive which means if Mommy is feeding it to me, I'm very special and she feels I'm worth it. Honey, on the other hand, has nothing to brag about but Kibble Breath.

As for a new bowl, just about everyone here has a bowl of their own that Mommy made so I suppose Honey can have one. But...it has been a very long time since I got a new one! I overheard Mommy & Daddy talking the other day and it sounds like it will soon be time to dig out the old football themed plate I had to eat off of on weekends last year. I suspect that means it's also about time for Mommy to start swearing at the TV when things don't go so well. Daddy is here now, too...does that mean twice the screaming? Maybe I better hope to get adopted before it gets too crazy around here! I know Mommy is still heartbroken about the fact that Kurt Warner won't be playing this year. I know just how she feels...I still miss my Herbie.

I guess several of you thought me calling Kinzi Sushi Breath was pretty funny! I thought about it...and got to giggling myself...then I went a little overboard and Mommy snagged this picture of me! It's a little embarrassing...but hey...at least you can tell I don't have any cavities!

Hi everyone! This is Honey...the foster dog that Kinzi seems to enjoy tattling on. She's on the sofa (again!) so I snuck down here and logged into her blog. She has some nerve asking if I was raised in a barn! Look at how she used to look before Mommy got her cleaned up. She looked like she'd been rolling around in the dirt with some pigs or something! I may sit on the kitchen table, but I don't leave any stains behind after I get off!

And she wants to know how I get on the kitchen table? I'll tell you...I'm quite a jumper! I may have short, stubby, Basset Hound legs but I can out jump any dog in the neighborhood! Kinzi is gonna have to drop a few more pounds before she can haul her lard butt up on anything more than a foot tall.

So I'll be monitoring this blog to make sure she's not snitching on me anymore and if she does...it will be WAR!!!

Mommy and Daddy went camping and Honey was lucky enough to go along...and just look at how she behaved! Honestly!!!! What kind of hooligan sits on the dining room table??? (...and how did she do it cuz frankly, I suspect the snacks are better up there and I'd like to know how to do it myself!)

My goodness...who's the drug addict???

Mommy is going to have to have the kitchen remodeled so there's more counter space for all the drugs that Binky brought home from the vet today. He's got two bottles of some fancy oral anti-biotic, 4 syringes of liquid pain meds, and a huge bottle of kitty Listerine that Mommy somehow has to try to squirt into his mouth. (hahaha good luck with that, Mom!)

Binky had to have one tooth removed, but almost all his other teeth have gingivitis. Didn't that boy ever brush or floss??? Apparently it's a condition where your gums are allergic to your teeth or something goofy like that...and he'll have to be adopted by a family who will make sure he always gets a dental cleaning when he needs one. I sure hope there's a family out there who will do that for him!

In the meantime, I'll make sure he's not eating any sugary treats. He is always begging from Mommy and Daddy for whatever they are eating...he just won't give up! His former family must have let him eat whatever he wanted. Hey...I wonder if Binky knows how to order a pizza.... "Hey Binky! Come here. I wanna talk to you..............."

HELP! We are STARVING!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO FAIR! Tomorrow is Binky's surgery so he's not allowed to eat tonight. That's his problem, right??? Well, apparently NOT! Mommy has taken away ALL of the food bowls so everyone is starving. I realize that misery loves company, but I think this is over-doing it just a bit, don't you???

We have a repeat customer!

Binky has returned. If you remember, he got adopted last October. He has a big, icky, sore in his mouth and his family isn't able to afford the surgery he needs. He has a cracked tooth and the infection has caused some sort of bump to form on his gums. He fusses at it alot so we know it bothers him.

He was grumpy when he first got here, but he really likes Daddy and Casey, so he's in a better mood since he made some friends. He's a mess...Mommy keeps trying to brush him out but he hates it and runs off after about two strokes with the brush. He's nuts if you ask me! I'd let Mommy brush me till I'm bald! It feels sooooooooooooo good!

Another home invasion!

Two of the pesky beagles have figured out how to break into my room again. Mommy had to make the door even smaller so now I have to crunch myself wayyyyyyyyyyy down low to fit through the tiny hole. It's like being one of those freaky contortionist people who can bend over backwards and tie themselves into a pretzel shape. I'm thinking I could audition on America's Got Talent...I'm way more talented than some of the freaks they let on that show! I can inhale a can of food, smack a beagle upside the head, and fit into a tiny hole all at the same time! I bet people would call in and vote for me! Just imagine all the food and catnip I could buy with all that money!!!!!!!!!!!!
