Tonight we lost our sweet Beauregard. He had been becoming increasingly sick over the last week and today when Mommy got home from work, she knew he was in bad shape. He was unable to maintain his body temperature and was very lethargic. After a couple of hours at the vet running tests, the sad decision to end his suffering had to be made. Mommy is very sad as "Bo Bo" had become one of her favorites. She said she chose him to foster because one night when she went to the pound and she wasn't even kitty shopping...she picked him up and he wrapped his paws around her neck and gave her a big hug. Beau did that alot while he was here, and also kept Mommy's head warm while she slept. He was also Mommy's little helper as you can see from the picture. He was always helping her make the bed.
It's sad that Beau is gone, but at least he knew he was loved while he was here.

ReplyDeleteI am so so sorry Kinzi, and Phyllis. You did such a tremendous and caring thing for Beau and at least he crossed Rainbow bridge in peace knowing he was loved for his last little while here in this world. Don't be so sad Kinzi, you will feel better soon.
