I'm moving to Alaska!

The air conditioner here is dead so I have to spend all day laying belly up in front of the floor fan. Mommy has to call a repair man to come look at it. There goes more of my catnip fund out the door. I told Mommy to get a firstgiving page to help the A/C with it's surgery but she said that's not allowed. Too bad!

Casey finally came out of the basement...he sure is a snuggle-butt. He's hogging the sofa and Mommy's lap!

FINALLY!

Mommy got me Pacey (but she changed his name to Casey)!! He hasn't been out much, tho...but I did see him take a snooze on Mommy's lap before he disappeared again. I think he's camped out in the laundry room where the dogs can't go. He ran by me without snarling or anything so I think that's a good sign! I will keep you posted.

It's almost bikini time!!!

Look! I almost have a waistline! What color bikini should I get? I look awfully cute on this blue rug...but a green one might bring out my eyes...

So...George got adopted yesterday...so that leaves just me and Jillian as foster cats here. I don't know what Mommy's deal is but she better get some boys in here QUICK!! I did not sign up for an all girls foster home and I will request a transfer if I have to!!!!!!!! I know where Loki is living and I'll call a taxi to take me there!!

Boy kitties...

Hey Sandy...Mommy said she did snuggle with Dimitri but he got kinda sassy with her...so I think he may have blown his chances to be my new boy toy! You better tell him to act better when Mommy shows up there kitty shopping. Mommy has her eye on either Pacey or Milo...she has a thing for gray and white cats and also tabby cats that have white on them...so right now I think those two probably have the best chances. I've seen Pacey and he is one sexy man, alright, just look at the picture! I melt when I look into those eyes...could be trouble if he shows up here in person cuz now I'm moving around pretty fast and since he's so much older than me I might actually be able to catch him! ...what should I do with him if I actually DO catch him???? What if he wants to get married...then I'm stuck cooking and cleaning and doing his laundry...oh wait...MOMMY gets to do all that!

Mommy was so upset after losing Beau last night that she decided to traumatize me by making me get on the scale. Well...guess what!?!?! I've lost weight!!! I'm down to 18.2 pounds! NOW can I have some pizza???????

Mommy just came home she's covered with foreign cat hair...so I know she's been at the pound kitty shopping again. She fessed up and told me about all the boys there. She also told me about all the Timbits that were there...but did she bring one home for me??? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

In memory of Beau

Tonight we lost our sweet Beauregard. He had been becoming increasingly sick over the last week and today when Mommy got home from work, she knew he was in bad shape. He was unable to maintain his body temperature and was very lethargic. After a couple of hours at the vet running tests, the sad decision to end his suffering had to be made. Mommy is very sad as "Bo Bo" had become one of her favorites. She said she chose him to foster because one night when she went to the pound and she wasn't even kitty shopping...she picked him up and he wrapped his paws around her neck and gave her a big hug. Beau did that alot while he was here, and also kept Mommy's head warm while she slept. He was also Mommy's little helper as you can see from the picture. He was always helping her make the bed.

It's sad that Beau is gone, but at least he knew he was loved while he was here.

I'm not the biggest kitty in the house anymore!

Oh wait...that's not a new foster kitty...that's just Honey! Apparently she thinks the cat tree is made for dogs, too! What a goofball. She also sneaks in to the laundry room alot and eats all the cat food...so perhaps she has some issues that need worked out with a therapist. If I hear her meow, I'm calling one for sure!

Not so sure about putting that shovel away...

Remember a couple weeks ago when we finally got brave and put the snow shovel in the garage? Well...something tells me that we still had bad luck because we did that! I know it didn't snow...but it's really cold outside and the dogs come in all wet and grumbling. Mommy says if we get much more rain the pond fish will be swimming around the whole back yard!

Mommy went to the pound tonight and told me about all the handsome older men they have there. I sure wish she'd bring one home!!!

Happy Mommy's Day!

Happy Mommy's Day to all the foster mommies out there who give their time, love, and bed space to homeless animals.

All the animals here pooled our money and got Mommy an MP3 player so she can listen to her ridiculous music. We especially like that it came with little earplug thingies so Mommy is the ONLY one who can hear it. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....peace & quiet!

Whew...what a night!

So I just got home from the book fair where little kids were reading to me. One girl read me a story from a book called Bobby vs. the Girls....I think I knew where that one was headed since "Kinzi vs. the boys" seems to be the story of my life. Another girl read me a book about a curious monkey named George. At first I thought it was about the chunky monkey George that lives here, but I found out this was really a monkey. The book was about pizza...so that was great, but I noticed on the back cover there was a recipe for veggie pizzas. Why must I be surrounded by vegetarians?????

Some other girl had this book about Barbie...but man, it wasn't like any Barbie book Mommy or I had ever seen. Mommy could hardly pronounce the names of the characters in the book and there seemed to be an evil plot unfolding! Yikes!

There were a couple sexy boys there...one fuzzy guy named Yoji and a big, sexy, black boy named Vinnie. I had to keep it clean, tho...since kids were around. When is the book fair for grown ups????

Well...I finally got a new bowl!

You're probably wondering what the heck it is, right? Mommy got it at the Green Street fair yesterday. Apparently the lady who makes them uses a cabbage leaf to make the imprint on the wet clay. I told Mommy I don't care if she needs to buy me a bowl fit for a vegetarian, but that she better not be slipping any vegetables into my dinner...cuz I'll feed them to the dog!
